1996–present

Researcher, Author, and Lecturer
In 1996 I left private medical practice to commit myself to full time research, writing and speaking in the field of health and healing. This work has taken me to the east where I have extensively explored eastern healing practices. This work has been synthesized and published in a recent book Integral Health: The Path to Human Flourishing. This ongoing exploration of the frontiers of health and healing serves as a basis for didactic and experiential presentations, seminars, and retreat programs for practitioners, health administrators and the general public..

Private Practice of Medicine
Integrating my experience of the past 25 years in the areas of holistic healing and mind/body medicine I built a successful and innovative private practice of internal medicine that incorporates the essential components of an expanded approach to health and healing. This practice has provided a living laboratory for exploring the medicine of the future and its interface with the current health care system.
